Applying for a semester abroad in Sopron
You apply to spend one or two semesters abroad through your home university, which has to be a partner University of Sopron. In order to ensure that your application process is dealt with quickly, please note the following guidelines.
Please contact the coordinator at your home university who is responsible for the exchange programme (ERASMUS, university partnership) and apply for an exchange place at University of Sopron. If your application is successful your home university will nominate you for one or two semesters abroad at University of Sopron, Faculty of Wood Engineering and Creative Industries.
Application deadlines (i.e. Arrival of application documents from exchange students)
- 31 May (fall semester)
- 30 November (spring semester)
Application documents
After being successfully nominated for a place at University of Sopron please send the following application documents to the International Office in Sopron:
- Application form (please fill in on a PC)
- Learning Agreement - for ERASMUS exchange students (can be submitted at a later date)
- Confirmation of examination grades to date from home university
- Copy of passport / personal ID
- 1 passport photographs
- CV and motivation letter
- language certificate
- portfolio (only for arts)
